Why We Built This Site
Maryland gives the public access to many court records, but Prince George's County record access is split by court level and record type. Circuit Court case files, divorce decrees, land records, and licenses connect to the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Upper Marlboro. District Court traffic, landlord-tenant, small claims, and many misdemeanor records may be tied to either Upper Marlboro or Hyattsville. Estate records use the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court, while jail and warrant questions go to county agencies outside the clerk's office. This site brings those channels into one county-specific reference.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. The document has to come from that office.
